Join the Australian Jewish community in celebrating the Climate Shabbat, a Shabbat where we can celebrate our climate action as a community and rededicate ourselves to creating a safe climate future for all.

This will be a regular Kabbalat Shabbat service with the D’var Torah given by Margalit Levin.

Margalit is an Australian diplomat with a wealth of international climate policy expertise. Her most recent role was the Deputy Ambassador to Sweden, Finland and Latvia. Formerly a climate negotiator in Australia's delegation to the UN on climate, and to the OECD, the Foreign Ministry's lead on Australia’s climate security agenda, and working with emerging technology sectors related to the green transition.
